Do You Need Our Support?

Apply for Patient Financial Assistance

If you are an individual living with breast cancer and are receiving treatment at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance through the Alberta Cancer Foundation's Patient Financial Assistance Program (PFAP), which receives funding support from Wings of Hope.

This is a financial needs-based program and assistance must be directed toward particular costs and services, such as medication, rent, groceries, utilities, travel costs, and similar basic living expenses. The application will require you to provide relevant financial information and meet other eligibility criteria.

For more information, please contact the Department of Psychosocial Resources-Cancer Care at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Their number is 403-355-3207.

Apply for Augmented Financial Assistance

If you qualified for PFAP and have exhausted your funding benefits under that program, you are qualified to apply for up to $5,000 of additional funding from the Wings of Hope Augmented Financial Assistance Program (AFAP). AFAP provides funding, on a reimbursement basis, for your basic living expenses – medication, rent, groceries, utilities, travel costs, and similar basic living expenses.
